Kara Barker is a Crown Prosecutor in Edmonton, Alberta. She practices General Litigation, Family Protection, Youth Prosecutions, and Drug Treatment Court. Kara sat on the Board of Directors for the Oliver School Center, the Parent Advisory Board for the University of Victoria Child Care, and the Mediation Restorative Justice Centre. Kara holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, a BA from Trent University, and a certificate in Ecotourism Management from Sir Sandford Fleming College. Kara is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta.
