Dr. Singh is a practicing optometrist with deep roots in Alberta. Born and raised in Edmonton, he graduated in 2019 and began practicing in Edmonton before relocating to Calgary to pursue a business opportunity. Today, Sunny owns and operates optometry clinics in both Edmonton and Calgary.

With the optometry profession experiencing significant change, Sunny is motivated to be involved not only as a practitioner but also as a regulator. He is passionate about contributing to the future of the profession through thoughtful governance, collaboration, and a strong focus on public protection.

Outside of clinical practice, Sunny is actively involved in community service, providing eye care to underserved populations through organizations such as The Mustard Seed, CUPS Calgary, and the Bissell Centre,he enjoys exploring everything Alberta has to offer, spending time with his wife and dog, Christopher, and staying active by playing football and basketball.
