Dr. Nasir Khan is an optometrist from Edmonton, Alberta. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of California, Berkley School of Optometry in 2003. Dr. Khan’s career includes clinical experiences at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He practiced in California before returning to Edmonton in 2007. In California, he was recognized as the Young Optometrist of the Year by the California Optometric Association in 2007.

Currently Dr. Khan is owner of the Windermere Eye Centre in Southwest Edmonton. He has held leadership roles in the Alberta College of Optometrists from 2018-2020. He is also involved in optometric organizations such as the Alberta Association of Optometrists, the Optometric Examining Board of Canada and the Canadian College of Specialties in Optometry. Dr. Khan’s contributions to the field of optometry include advocating for specialization and shaping the future of optometry through his involvement in various organizations.
